Hi. I'm Inidar, and WorldSlate is a one-person operation. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit worldslatestudio.com in plain English. The short version: I collect your email only if you sign up to be notified at launch, I don't sell it to anyone, and you can ask me to delete it any time.

What I collect

If you sign up for launch notifications (the form on the homepage / features / FAQ pages):

• Your email address.
• A note about which page you signed up from so I know which parts of the site work and which don't.

If you visit the site without signing up:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Cloudflare Web Analytics, which logs aggregate request data (page visited, country, browser type, referrer). It's cookieless and doesn't fingerprint or track individual users across sessions.

Why I collect it

The email signup exists for one reason: to email you when WorldSlate is actually downloadable, and to notify you if there are any major updates.

If you buy WorldSlate

Purchases happen on itch.io (or Humble Bundle), not on this site. When you click "Buy," you're handed off to their checkout, which runs on their own servers. They process your payment, send you the download link, and handle invoicing.

What that means for your data:

• I never see your card, billing address, or payment details. Those stay with itch / Humble and their payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
• I see your purchase email (for license + support) and high-level sales numbers (totals, region for tax). That's it.
• Your purchase is also governed by itch.io's privacy policy / Humble Bundle's privacy policy in addition to this one.

What I will never do

• Sell your email or private information to anyone for any reason.
• Use your data to train AI models.

Your rights

• You can ask me to delete your email at any time. Just reply to one of my emails or contact me (see below) and I'll remove it.
• You can ask what data exists on you; same channel. The answer will probably be: "your email address and which page of the site you signed up on."
• If you're in the EU/UK and want the formal-words version: this also covers your GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability).

Cookies

The site itself doesn't set any cookies for tracking. Cloudflare may set a few for security and bot detection (the same ones every Cloudflare-protected site sets). None of these are used to track you across other websites.

Children

WorldSlate isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has signed up by mistake, let me know and I'll remove the entry.

Changes to this policy

If I change anything material, I'll update the date at the top. Big changes (e.g. adding a new processor) will be called out clearly.
