I'm Inidar — a web developer who keeps ending up building tools instead of the thing I sat down to build.
By day, I write web apps. By night, I've been building a game — a top-down survival exploration title with procedural worlds, base building, and a persistent overworld that heals as you push deeper into it.
WorldSlate exists because I needed a way to design those worlds visually without writing disposable generation code for every biome layout. But after using it internally, it became clear this tool had to be released so others can use it.
